Home

After signing in, Home is your starting point. Choose Platform to manage event collection or Explorer to work with reports.

Platform

Platform manages the journey from your tracking implementation to your warehouse. A project groups a website or application. Environments separate testing and production, with their own ingestion keys and destinations. Event schemas define which fields Platform accepts and how it interprets them.

Start with how Platform works and the project setup guide. You need administrative permissions in your organization to configure Platform.

Explorer

A report combines metrics, breakdowns and visualizations. Explorer lists reports that you can access in the active organization. Create new Report starts a new analysis if your role allows it.

A Data Source connects Explorer to the data you want to analyze. This can be data delivered by Platform or data you already have. The available metrics and dimensions depend on the source.

Organizations and permissions

The active organization determines which reports, sources and projects you can access. If an expected item is missing, check your organization and ask its owner or an administrator to check your permissions.

Use a desktop or laptop to create and edit reports. On a phone, report access focuses on reading existing reports.
